Policy regarding course cancellations

As a nonprofit organization, the Carlisle Arts Learning Center cannot underwrite its courses and reserves the right to cancel a course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements. We also reserve the right to cancel or postpone any program or activity due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If the Carlisle Arts Learning Center cancels or significantly alters a class, a full refund will be issued or the student may be placed in an alternate class.

Weather Cancellations

The Carlisle Arts Learning Center follows the Carlisle Area School District school inclement weather policy only in the event of a school cancellation. 


Carlisle Arts Learning Center does not provide a cash refund for cancellation of art classes, unless the class is cancelled by CALC. In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 5 days before the first class meeting. Students who request a withdrawal at least 5 days prior to the first meeting will receive a 90% tuition class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 5 days from the first day of class are not eligible for a class credit.

Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.

Camp Cancellation Policy- 25% of the fee is non-refundable.  There is no refund if the camper cancels within 14 days of the start of camp. Campers are not allowed to transfer or switch camps within 7 days of the start of camp.
