In this one-day workshop, you will be introduced to the art of macramé including materials, basic knots, design and color. A variety of colorful cords will be available to experiment with in making knotted samples. Students will then begin a small wall hanging using the variety of knots learned.

*Please bring these required supplies on the first day of class:

1. Macramé Board & T-Pins or Clip-board with spring mechanism

2. Any cords you would like to learn with

3. Approx. 7” long hanging device such as a plexiglass rod or narrow branch (instructor will provide a dowel)

Refund and Cancellation Policies:

As a nonprofit organization, the Carlisle Arts Learning Center reserves the right to cancel a course that does not meet minimum enrollment requirements, or postpone any program or activity due to unforeseen circumstances. When the Carlisle Arts Learning Center cancels a class, registered students automatically receive a credit towards another class. It is the students responsibility to contact CALC to fulfill this credit. CALC will provide full refunds in the case of a cancelled class when necessary.

In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 72 hours before the first class date. Students who request a withdrawal before the 72 hour period will receive a 90% refund or 100% class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 72 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or class credit.

Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
