A fun after school clay class! This ceramic class will introduce students to a variety of hand building techniques as well as instruction on the pottery wheel. Students will create a minimum of two finished
clay pieces of art. Special decorating techniques
will be learned.

Storytelling Through Clay

Ages: 7-15

Each student will develop a storyline--using their imaginations and tales, they will decorate a ceramic vessel. Students will use various materials and methods to illustrate their stories in clay including underglaze pencils, watercolors, decals, and lustres. At the end of the class, they’ll share their story and vessel with the class.

Group programs in ceramics

Programs designed specically for your group or organization. Perfect for field trips, scout troops, homeschool students, etc. Class content and scheduling are coordinated with the instructor. Class cost covers instruction, materials and kiln ring where appropriate.

CALC Refund Policy for Art Classes
Carlisle Arts Learning Center does not provide a cash refund for cancellation of art classes, unless the class is cancelled by CALC. In order to request a withdrawal from a class or workshop, students must contact CALC at least 5 days before the first class meeting. Students who request a withdrawal at least 5 days prior to the first meeting will receive a 90% tuition class credit. Students withdrawing fewer than 5 days from the first day of class are not eligible for a class credit.
Please note we are unable to provide make-up opportunities, prorate or provide refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts.
